The company is one of the major producers of ISI grade Centrifuged Latex in India with an installed capacity of 27 Metric Tonnes per day. The product is marketed and sold on an all-India basis, directly and through agents, for a wide range of applications such as Condoms, Hand Gloves, Foam Rubber Coir Mattings and Balloons.
The field latex produced in the estates of the Corporation is brought to the Centrifuging Factory at Chithalvetty and converted to Centrifuged latex of 60% DRC conforming to ISI specifications. The skim generated in the process is converted to Skim Crepe in the crepe mill installed in the factory.
- 60% Centrifuged Latex
Normal Latex received from the field is concentrated on centrifuging machines to make the Dry Rubber Content of Latex standardized at 60 % so as to obtain a standardized raw material for different production processes.
- Skim Crepe
The coagulated skim is passed through a battery of creepers and air dried to obtain Skim Crepe.
- Estate Brown Crepe
Fresh scrap obtained from estates is passed through a battery of rollers to obtain the desired creep and air dried to obtain E.B.C
